The Palmetto Association of Independent Schools (PAIS) is the professional membership organization for independent schools across South Carolina.

PAIS connects school leaders through collaboration, professional development, advocacy awareness, and shared best practices. As a statewide independent school association, we serve as a link between South Carolina schools and regional and national organizations such as SAIS and NAIS.
