PAIS serves as a link for South Carolina's independent schools to regional and national independent school associations like SAIS and NAIS. Our schools observe the highest standards for student admissions and achievement, academic instruction, flexible and dynamic curriculum, and faculty selection and retention.

Board Governance
PAIS is led by a dynamic group of independent school professionals drawn from its member schools. New officers are elected at the Annual Fall meeting of the association. PAIS is supported by an amazing group of educators from across the state.
